Hey there, friend, I’m Kat B.

The comeback queen with salt in my hair, spark in my soul, and stories that heal.

I’m 70, a mom, grandma, writer, and lifelong learner with a heart as big as the ocean I adore. I’ve weathered more storms than I care to count, from childhood trauma, decades of abuse of many kinds, physical damage, to chronic pain, and starting over when life said, “Here we go again?”

I’m still standing with a smile, kindness in my heart, and a steady belief in new beginnings at any age.

I’m not a victim. I don’t wear the survivor label either because surviving isn’t the finish line. I healed, rebuilt, and I’m still growing. I’m thriving. I’m living proof that healing is possible and thriving is a choice.

These days I work from home, helping people who’ve walked through their own rough times find their footing again. Many of us carry trauma, burnout, or the quiet ache of wanting more. I share what’s helped me stay calm and build both income and confidence from home in ways that feel honest and doable.

I blend lived experience, mindset shifts, and a sprinkle of beach calm to help you rebuild confidence and income step by step. Every win counts. They add up.

I used to run a web and design business, and I still love color, graphics, and a bit of Canva magic. What I love most now is helping others build something meaningful that feels good, grounded, and sustainable.

Watching someone light up when they realize it’s not too late, that’s my favorite moment.

It’s an amazing feeling to watch their growth and see them light up when they realize it’s not too late to start again or learn something new.

My fuel? Gratitude, determination, tea, a little dark chocolate, two amazing sons, three brilliant granddaughters, my two rescue kitties Remmie and Moe, and the sound of ocean waves, and my bare feet in the sand… even when I’m surrounded by hayfields and harsh winters.
Starting over isn’t failure. It’s courage, and it’s never too late to build the life you deserve.
